Mini Blair Continue good run

By Mark Hopper

positive performance from the u10s

Report from the minis this weekend is from the Under 10s North Kent League team they played a very tough away fixture against Longfield Tigers.
With no Bradley Norgate or Liam Stephenson available
There was a league debut for new signing Tayo Olagbemi.
Blair started very strongly & scored early on through a Joe poll close range finish & after that chances game fast for blair with a few one on one chances put just wide of the post from Joe & TJ Weaver was clean through but the Longfield keeper made a good save, After a foul on Ethan Williams, Kirean Robertson stepped up to take the free kick & found the net from just outside the box,
With Blair still playing some lovely football Kieran Robertson broke through the middle to find the net again, things become maybe to comfortable for blair looked to let there foot off the gas & Longfield played there way into the game with Blair on the backfoot for the rest of the match however some resilient defending from Blair with Alfie Page who put in some lovely tackles, Thomas Planson who got coaches player of the match & some fantastic saves from Jack Trice who had a busy afternoon in goal helped the boys come away with a positive result & learning a lot against a good footballing side.

Thanks again to Terry for another great report, with half term here the mini youth teams should be back in full force in a couple of weeks.
